Purpose

Rise Sober provides peer-led recovery information, practical tools, meeting details and routes to further support. By using the website or app, you agree to use them lawfully and respectfully.

Not medical or emergency care

Rise Sober is not a medical provider, treatment service or emergency service. Its content is not diagnosis, treatment or a substitute for professional advice. If somebody may be in immediate danger or cannot stay safe, call 999.

Your choices

Recovery is personal. Information on this site describes options and lived experience; it does not guarantee that a particular fellowship, service, treatment provider or spiritual practice will be suitable for everyone.

Meeting information

Times, venues, online links and availability can change. Please confirm details before travelling or relying on a meeting taking place.

External services

We link to independent organisations and platforms to help people find support. A link does not mean Rise Sober controls, endorses or accepts responsibility for every part of that external service.

Contributions

Tradition Seven contributions are voluntary and help with the practical costs of running the Rise Sober meeting. Rise Sober does not currently describe itself as a registered charity. Payment providers apply their own terms.

Content and permissions

Rise Sober’s original name, branding, writing and design may not be copied or presented as somebody else’s work. Material belonging to recovery fellowships, artists or other organisations remains the property of its respective owner and is used or linked subject to the applicable permission.

Responsible use

Do not misuse the website, attempt to interfere with it or use Rise Sober’s contact routes to threaten, harass or exploit another person.
